Benoît Kandel is running in the legislative elections in the 5th district of Alpes-Maritimes.
This district has been the stronghold of Christian Estrosi for 20 years, who is fielding his successor Marine Brenier.
Therefore, it is a symbolically important district nationally, representing whether voters agree or not with the political repositioning of Christian Estrosi and the LR party. Additionally, it is one of the few districts without an official “En Marche” candidate.
To elaborate on his positions, Mr. Kandel will hold his first press conference this morning at 9 am at the Nice flower market.
