Today, the choices of candidacies are no longer the result of reflection, fieldwork, or initiatives serving the general interest to bring forward local and innovative needs…
Only centralized and Jacobin decision-making, with the dominance complex it generates, leads to incomprehensible choices at the expense of common sense and loyalty.
Aware of all this, men and women have decided to come together to gain efficiency and offer an alternative option.
This is why, in line with his initial commitment and concerned with avoiding division, Erick LAZARUS, who was once a legitimate candidate of the National Front (but dropped in favor of a candidate from Grasse whose connection to the interests of the 4th constituency is questionable), has decided to withdraw in favor of the sole “anti-system” candidate, Stéphane CHERKI.
An experienced man and business leader, Stéphane CHERKI, mayor of Eze and UMP member, is also the only candidate free from financial ambition, determined to defend the constituency’s interests and to end the extensive influence of the outgoing careerist and office-holder.
In the agreement to join forces in the department, and to mark his opposition to the diktats, Stéphane CHERKI has decided to support the candidates of the Republican League and particularly its President, Michel COTTA, former head of the Nice urban community for the National Front.
These initial steps are the foundations of an even broader expansion of the platform put in place for the common good, enabling the gathering of a new political force close to the voters.
The decision to unite is all the more important because it will allow for a strong union in line with our motto “ACT RATHER THAN SUFFER” in the face of political careerists and other vindictive individuals affected, either by holding multiple long-term offices or, with all due respect to our elders, by the age limit as expressed by the voters (see: Nice Matin article dated 11/04/2012 where 92% of those polled wish for an age limit for holding an elected office).
We therefore call on all those who wish to turn towards efficiency and the prospects of a new future to join this assembly.
