According to an Ipsos/Sopra Steria poll for France Télévisions and Radio France* published on Tuesday, May 30, the alliance between La République en Marche and the MoDem is credited with 29.5% of voting intentions in the first round of the legislative elections on June 11 and 18. It would be well ahead of the LR-UDI alliance, credited with 22%, and the National Front, which would obtain 18%.
Behind them, Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s La France Insoumise (11.5%) would perform better than the Socialist and Left Radical candidates (9%). EELV would obtain 3%, Debout la France 2.5%, and the PCF 2%.
From now until June 11, the power dynamics could still change, as 34% of those surveyed believe they might change their minds.
According to Kantar, this could result in the following composition of the National Assembly: FN 10-15 deputies, FI 20-30, PS 40-50, LR 140-155, LREM 320-350.
