Legislative poll: Is Emmanuel Macron on track to succeed in his gamble? 60% of those surveyed want him to have a majority in the Assembly.

Published by France Tรฉlรฉvision, a poll reports on the “band-wagoning” effect of Emmanuel Macron’s election to the presidency of the Republic.

Candidates from the political party founded by Emmanuel Macron, allied with those of the MoDem, gather 32% of the voting intentions for the elections on June 11 and 18.


They are clearly ahead of the candidates from the Republicans and the UDI, who receive 19% (-1 point in six days) and the candidates from the FN also at 19% of voting intentions (-1 point). Behind them, the candidates from France Insoumise collect 15% of the voting intentions (+1 point). The candidates from the PS and PRG gather only 6% of the votes (-1 point).

In terms of vote transfer, 83% of the voters who backed the Head of State in the first round of the presidential election state that they would vote for an LREM-MoDem candidate. These candidates also benefit from the support of nearly a quarter of Benoรฎt Hamon’s voters (21%), as well as 19% of Franรงois Fillon’s and 13% of Jean-Luc Mรฉlenchon’s voters. As for Marine Le Pen’s voters, they are more inclined to support their party’s candidates in the legislative elections (81%).

Six out of ten French people hope that La Rรฉpublique en Marche will have a majority in the Assembly. They are divided between those who hope to see LREM with an absolute majority (23%) and those who expect a relative majority (37%) within the framework of an alliance with either the center-left (20%) or the center-right (17%).
