Yesterday, the visit to the pediatric educational unit took place with the Alpes-Maritimes department.
On Thursday, March 14, 2024, the visit to the educational unit of pediatric hospitals and the meeting of the Blouses Roses association with the Alpes-Maritimes department took place. Present were Éric Ciotti, MP and president of the finance committee of the Alpes-Maritimes department, as well as Martine Dewailly, president of the Nice Blouses Roses association.
In 2023, more than 60,000 patients were received in pediatrics. The department was able to visit the pediatric educational unit with the classrooms. Teachers regularly come to ensure the children continue their lessons. “A beacon for all Nice families,” states MP Éric Ciotti.
During the visit, children’s books, manga, and gifts were distributed to the children they met.
How do the Blouses Roses work?
The Blouses Roses is an association present at Lenval Hospital and Archet. The purpose of this association is to relieve parents. Around sixty volunteers assist children and also help in nursing homes. The Blouses Roses bring joy and cheerfulness to children in pediatrics.
They can also intervene during evening shifts to engage children in activities like reading or games. A moment of joy where the children are occupied to relieve the parents.
