Les Toquissimes, great chefs in the “u” restaurants

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, the 5th gourmet gathering of the academic year for the “Toquissimes” will take place, featuring Michelin-starred chef David Faure! In addition to creating the menu on the theme “Spring on the Table,” David Faure will give a cooking class to the four student winners of the “A vous la toque” competition.

The CROUS of Nice-Toulon and La Recette Magique are continuing their collaboration, which began in 2008, to introduce gastronomy to students in university cafeterias. David Faure, the Michelin-starred chef of the gourmet restaurant Aphrodite in Nice, has created the menu that will be prepared by the cafeteria teams on that day.

This is the second collaboration between David Faure and the CROUS for Les Toquissimes.

The gourmet lunch (starter, main course, dessert) is offered to students at the price of 3.05 euros, which is the price of a student meal ticket.

A contest

By immediately responding to an online questionnaire, students will have the chance to win a cooking class on Tuesday, March 20, with David Faure at the Montebello cafeteria in Nice.
