Approximately 300 protesters marched this Sunday afternoon from Place Masséna in Nice. It was a way to protest with music against all kinds of discrimination against the LGBT community.
Their aim was to denounce the various forms of discrimination that the LGBT community still falls victim to far too often. On the signs, one could notably read “lesbophobia seriously harms society,” or “I am not a disease.”
A rainbow-colored flag was even hung at the top of the Belanda Tower on Castle Hill. A call to fight against “LGBT Phobias” was issued throughout France this weekend.
