Sunday, May 6, the voters chose a president whose ideas are completely opposite to their expectations. Regardless of the topic, the socialists will go against common sense and the aspirations of the French people.
Instead of addressing “social” immigration, which comes to France solely to take advantage of the system, we will see a loosening of controls and greater tolerance for illegal immigration.
Instead of questioning the general decline in educational standards and trying to understand why the university has become a “factory for creating unemployed people,” we will see the unrealistic promise to create 60,000 additional positions in National Education.
Instead of easing the financial burden on the French, who are strangled by a country breaking all records in mandatory levies, we have François Hollande promising an additional layer of taxes.
Instead of addressing the frustration of the working class, outraged to find that many who do not work fare just as well as they do, if not better in some cases, we will see policies that will further develop these unjust advantages rejected by a significant portion of the French people.
Finally, for those dreaming of a moralization of political life, it should be noted that the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, François Hollande, has covered up wrongdoings known in the socialist federations of the North or the Bouches-du-Rhône and that today, 57 socialist elected officials, mayors of large cities, parliamentarians, or presidents of general councils, who have nevertheless been indicted or convicted, continue to hold important positions!
