Regarding the decor, Lido beach doesnโt exactly stand out from other beaches located on the Promenade. There are turquoise umbrellas and white and blue striped lounge chairs. The terrace area is mainly made of wood and covered with white drapes to block out the sunlight.
However, the main asset of this beach is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and changing rooms. When you spend entire days at a private beach, it is essential to have the necessary facilities to take a shower or wash your hands.
As for the restaurant, the beach offers an ร la carte menu that varies between 20 and 25 euros, and for various dishes, expect to pay between 12 and 24.50 euros. The restaurant remains open all year and offers a refined and hearty cuisine made up of Provenรงal specialties, fish, and seafood.
For renting a lounge chair and umbrella, it costs 18 euros and 12 euros for a half-day lounge chair rental. Lido beach also organizes receptions, such as weddings, baptisms, or conferences, accommodating up to 300 people.
The owner of this beach, Vladimir Zytomierski, is of Polish origin.
“With the crisis, there is a decline in local customers”
Yuvan Malochet, 35, manager of Lido beach, indicates that the crisis has particularly affected the local clientele, which has become scarcer. But in the summer season, the targeted clientele is mostly composed of tourists, Germans, Italians, Russians. “Even with the crisis, foreign tourists will always be present.” Moreover, the staff at Lido beach is fluent in English, Italian, Russian, Swedish, and Polish.
