The Liserons neighborhood, located north of Bon Voyage, is identified as a “difficult” area: high unemployment rate, lack of infrastructure and local shops, feeling of isolation among the residents…
To improve their living environment and better meet their expectations, particularly in terms of social support, the partners of the Urban Social Cohesion Contract (CUCS), associations (ARBRE, Activities For All, ALAMโฆ), Cรดte d’Azur Habitat, and other partners are carrying out support, integration, or animation actions in the neighborhood.
A green lung at the heart of the neighborhood
On the natural site of Colle du Mont Gros, a park of more than 3 hectares has been created and a children’s playground rehabilitated to offer residents the opportunity to recharge, relax, and come together in a pleasant environment.
The park includes a sports trail, rest areas, a botanical route, and “family gardens,” small plots of land allocated to residents wishing to cultivate their fruits and vegetables. These are managed and organized by the Community Family Gardens of the Traminots ST2N in connection with Activities For All. The harvest from one of these plots is then donated to the association “Dialogues,” responsible for selling this produce in its social grocery store.
These developments are significant steps in the process of improving the living environment of the Liserons residents.
