As every year, the city of Nice organizes its own literary prize: the Prix Baie des Anges. This event, coinciding with the Festival du Livre which will be held from May 31 to June 2, 2024, brings together authors, booksellers, and readers for conferences and book signings centered around literature. Applications to be a jury member for the Prix Nice Baie des Anges are open until February 1, 2024.
A jury composed of 8 members selects a novel released this year, which is read by about ten readers on March 12. Readers and the jury, together, will determine the winning novel. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, May 31 during the Nice Festival du Livre.
To participate, certain conditions must be met:
- You must be a resident of the department.
- You must not have been a jury member in 2022 and 2023.
- You must attend the scheduled meetings on March 12 at 11 a.m. and mid-May, which will be held in Nice.
Applications must be sent by February 1 via email to c.giraud@mpocom.com, including: Name, First name, Postal address, Mobile number, and an explanation of your motivations and reasons for wanting to be part of this jury.
