This Thursday, July 3rd, Christian Estrosi officially launched the “Lou Passagin” shuttle, which connects the two quays of the port of Nice. Electric and free, it will allow people to reach both banks in a few minutes. A recap in images.
To the sound of Niรงoise songs, Christian Estrosi arrived at the Quai d’Entrecasteaux from the Quai Lunel to officially launch the “Lou Passagin,” a free shuttle that connects the two banks of the port to cross it comfortably (and ecologically). With an electric motor, this pointu symbolizes the fight against ocean pollution, one of Nice’s key battles, which hosted the UNOC in June. The shuttle will operate from 10 AM to 7 PM. Here’s a look back at this joyful morning.
A Morning in Good Spirits
“The images speak for themselves, they illustrate the tradition“, declared Christian Estrosi after making the journey aboard the pointu.
Thanking the Contributors
“I want to thank my friends at the port, who keep our traditions alive with our pointus“, the mayor of Nice expressed afterwards. Many Niรงois were present for the occasion. Christian Estrosi made sure to thank his deputy, Anthony Borrรฉ, as well as all the port workers, especially for their efforts towards its electrification.
The morning concluded in good spirits, with Niรงoise songs, which Christian Estrosi could not resist joining in.
