For the 6th consecutive year, the free shuttle beloved by the people of Nice, “Lou Passagin,” resumes service until September 30.
A summer attraction, 7 days a week from 10 AM to 7 PM, for both visitors and residents alike.
Eric Ciotti, who was behind the initiative as President of the Departmental Council, didn’t miss the inaugural tour through the Port Lympia basin: “For 6 years, the Alpes-Maritimes Department has been reconnecting with a tradition dear to the hearts of the people of Nice.”
This popular service, which marked the port of Nice between the 1920s and 1960s, is 100% ecological and 100% silent.
It provides the connection between the two banks of the Port of Nice, from the Charles Felix basin on the West bank to the Entrecasteaux quay on the East bank.
Since its launch, this pointu has been met with great success. Indeed, over the past 6 summers, nearly 260,000 passengers have boarded this boat. In 2017, nearly 60,000 passengers were recorded.
