Louise Attaque the greenery theater in Nice

Latest News

The spring rock event will take place outdoors, facing the sea on the Promenade des Anglais at the Théâtre de Verdure, featuring the first appearance in the region by the band Louise Attaque.

Louise Attaque, a French rock band from Loiret, was born out of a strong friendship between its members Gaëtan, Robin, Alex, and Arno.

After four years of touring bars and community halls, the band finally found their musical identity and maturity with the introduction of the violin into their sound. Noticed by the record label Delabel, they signed their first album ‘Louise Attaque’ in 1997. Their folkloric influence, characterized by the plaintive voice of the singer and the surprising use of the violin, shook up the French rock scene.

Without any promotion, it was on stage that they made their mark and became known through word of mouth. Their performances thrilled audiences.

Quickly, after giving more than 300 concerts, their album went double platinum. Their next record ‘Comme on a dit’ met the same fate. Four years after disbanding, Louise Attaque reformed to record ‘A plus tard crocodile’.

On this third album, the French quartet remained true to the musical direction that made them successful, without resorting to taking the easy path.

Since 2005, Louise Attaque has reunited and hit the road again with a bag full of new songs, tested on the enthusiastic crowd of summer festivals they participated in, leading with Eurockéennes, and also embarking on a world tour (South and North America, India, Russia, Italy, etc.)
