Yesterday afternoon, several dozen volunteers from L214 gathered in Antibes in a friendly and joyful atmosphere.

The aim of the operation: to encourage passersby to act on their resolution to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diets.

For this, there’s nothing better than the Veggie Challenge, a 21-day program to discover plant-based cooking.


A vegan challenge, to go further

Featured in magazines, the blogosphere, supermarkets, and even restaurants, vegan cooking is currently booming. It is now recognized in society as an ethical, ecological, and delicious trend, responding to a growing demand: 50% of French people say they want to increase their consumption of plant-based products (IFOP/Lesieur survey, 2017).

To guide curious consumers step by step in trying a new experience that reduces their environmental footprint, cares for their health, and spares animals, L214 has launched the Veggie Challenge.

Passersby can benefit for free, over 21 days, from nutritional and practical tips for cooking delicious recipes.

There’s no need to rack your brains for this, just follow the Veggie Challenge. Everything is explained with balanced vegan menus, and a private Facebook group is available to discuss the challenge.

Our appetite for meat has heavy consequences: environmental degradation, increased health risks…

Our “meat-eater” diet leads to the daily slaughter of 3 million land animals in slaughterhouses and several tens of millions of aquatic animals in France alone.

The shocking images from various slaughterhouses, whose practices have been exposed by L214, as well as the hellish conditions of caged hens, have highlighted extremely violent routine practices and raised many questions about our consumption habits.
