Organized for the eleventh consecutive year, the Luciana Falotico Prize is an annual event that provides a concrete and effective link between new graduates and companies.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with Centrostampa Offset of Imperia, this initiative, created in 2000, is carried out in memory of Mrs. Falotico, a former employee of the Italian Consulate in Nice, who contributed with her enthusiasm and expertise to the establishment of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice.
The prize is awarded each year for a thesis that is fully in line with the program of cooperation and development of cultural and economic relations between France and Italy, promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
This year, the Luciana Falotico Prize will be awarded to Vittoria NEGRO BEGGIATO for her thesis at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Turin, entitled “Cooperation between France and Italy for the Promotion of Innovation.”
The work of Vittoria NEGRO BEGGIATO will be presented by the two professors who supervised her: Giuseppe TARDIVO and Stefano BRESCIANI, professors of economics at the University of Turin.
A conference related to this theme will take place:
“Innovation Facing the Crisis”
Moderated by Christiane NAVAS, journalist and correspondent for the PACA region for the daily “Les Echos,” the conference organized on the occasion of the event will provide an opportunity to assess the role of innovation in a path out of the crisis and to analyze the virtuous cooperation actions undertaken by French and Italian institutions.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice will have the honor of hosting contributions from Pierre LAFFITTE, Senator and Founding President of the Sophia-Antipolis Foundation, Jean-Noël DURVY, Director General of the Sophia-Antipolis Foundation, Gianluca CARENZO, Executive Director of the Po Valley Technology Park, and Albert MAROUANI, President of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis.
