Ludovico Einaudi, composer of the soundtrack for the film “Intouchables,” will perform in concert at the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice on Friday, July 13, 2012, at 9:00 PM.

Talented, classical, and eclectic, Ludovico Einaudi is recognized in France for his art. This Italian musician notably composed the original soundtrack for the film Intouchables. Directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, the French comedy was a huge success: over 19 million tickets sold at the box office! Almost a record. The fame of the composer of “Fly,” a title from the soundtrack, is well established.

Ludovico Einaudi has already demonstrated his artistic quality in the film world. In 2008, the musician from Italy notably composed the music for Shane Meadows’ film “This is England.”

On the stage of the Théâtre de Verdure, the Italian will perform his best pieces. Priority will be given to the five compositions from the film “Intouchables” named Una Mattina, Divenire, Fly, Writing Poems, and Cache-Cache. Facing the sea, the graduate of the Milan Conservatory will have no choice but to shine.
