Sunday, October 20, 2013, at 6:30 PM, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolis, will meet with Renรฉ Tavazzi, President of OGC Nice’s bowls sports section, on the occasion of the awards ceremony for the 2nd Ange Contini Challenge.
Ange Contini, who passed away on March 18, 2011, left a significant mark on the club and the bowls sport of the Cรดte dโAzur region, with the closure at 183 route de Grenoble named after him. This Lyonnaise Boules competition also bears the name of the man who was the President of the OGC Nice bowls sports section for 30 years.
This challenge will bring together 64 registered players, organized into 16 quartets divided into 4 groups of 4. The announced level is very high, with each team having 2 elite players.
The awards ceremony will take place in the presence of Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, and Renรฉ Tavazzi, President of the OGC Nice bowls sports section.
