The decree by the mayor of Nice, which requires everyone to wear a health mask in all public spaces and not just in transportation, stores, and gathering places, is not accepted by the LDH, which has filed an appeal with the Administrative Court.
This initiative was echoed by Jean-Marc Le Gars, lawyer and former president of the administrative court, who believes that it is not up to the mayor to issue a decree mandating mask-wearing in Nice.
The hearing concerning the two appeals—which have been combined—takes place on Monday at 2 p.m.
