This Saturday, July 5, starting at 9:30 AM, the Nautical Center of Mandelieu-La Napoule will host a new stage of the 2014 Handi Voile 06 tour, organized by the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee, the Departmental Canoe-Kayak Committee, and the host municipality.
The Handi Voile 06 tour offers free nautical activities, accessible to people with disabilities at different handi beaches and/or nautical centers in the department. A summer event conducive to escape, discovery, and sharing.
At each stage, one-hour sea outings are offered, supervised by qualified instructors, on board trimarans and canoes-kayaks provided respectively by the Departmental Sailing Committee 06, the Nautical Club of Nice, and the Departmental Canoe-Kayak Committee. Four outings per day are organized: from 9:30 AM to 11 AM, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, and 3 PM to 4:30 PM, on different types of boats: adapted trimarans, collective boat Echo 90, canoes-kayaks.
The “The Sea,…My Nature” charter was created last year to highlight the values of nautical activities in respect of the environment. By signing it, each person can commit to respecting these values and become a messenger of the charter.
