For the Women’s Rights Collective 06 / WeStopEverything06, this year, the international day of struggle for women’s rights will be a 24-hour strike as in so many countries around the world!

Worldwide, women fight and have always fought. That is how they have been able to significantly improve their condition. But the attacks are multiplying: we loudly say stop!
Stop to precarity, overexploitation, low wages, discrimination, racism. Stop being almost solely responsible for domestic chores, child-rearing, and caring for the elderly. Stop neoliberal capitalism that is dismantling our public services: hospitals, maternity wards, schools…. Stop insults, assaults, gynecological and obstetric violence, harassment, rapes, murders, femicides. Stop the closures of abortion clinics and the relentless attacks on abortion rights. Stop to inadequate housing and homelessness. Stop the turning away of women, children, and men exiled from war-torn countries at Europe’s borders. Stop seeing the planet handed over to multinational corporations and predatory capitalist lobbies.
Our role in society is fundamental: if we stop, everything stops. We have the weapon of the strike against the patriarchy. On March 8, it’s the feminist strike! On March 8, #WeStopEverything.
