March at the Museums: Students Invited to Museums in Nice in March 2010

Latest News

Students take over several dozen museums in Nice from March 1 to March 31, 2010, on the occasion of “Mars aux Musées.” For one month, students and those under 26 have the opportunity to discover Nice’s museums for free. This is a unique initiative in France. Organized by the City of Nice, the University of Sophia Antipolis, and the students from the Master’s program in Mediation and Cultural Engineering, supported by the University’s Department of Culture, this event offers the chance to attend concerts, theater performances, singing, and dance shows. Over the years, “Mars aux Musées” has gained strong notoriety. A testament to this: “Yesterday, 300 people attended the inauguration at the Palais Lascaris,” says Magali Passoni-Cartier, one of the organizers, compared to 250 at Villa Masséna last year. So don’t hesitate to discover its 9th edition, rich in culture.
