The Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, through its P.L.I.E. service (Local Plan for Integration and Employment), is organizing the Markethon of Ariane on Thursday, October 13, 2011. This event is in partnership with the NCA Community Local Mission, neighborhood associations, and businesses.
During this Markethon, job seekers in teams of 2 to 4 will meet with artisans or company managers for a friendly exchange about careers.
Regularly organized in districts of Nice or other communes of Nice Côte d’Azur since 2004 (the date of the first Markethon), this career discovery day aims to:
– Energize participants in their job search, refine their knowledge of companies and the local economic structure, and break their isolation by integrating them into a friendly collective initiative;
– Humanize companies, match supply and demand, and enliven a territory.
Since the first Markethon, more than 750 job seekers have participated in these days in the Nice Côte d’Azur area, with 7,276 company visits conducted and 2,054 recruitment intentions recorded.
On Thursday, October 13 at 9:30 AM, 15 “markethonians” will have the chance to start their day by visiting Pascal Lac’s laboratory, discovering the professions of pastry and chocolate making.
