On the occasion of the event “Mediterranean of the Future,” 30 European and Mediterranean delegations, the President of the Republic of Albania, the Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, Nasser Kemal, and several ministers will be in Marseille at the invitation of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region. France will be represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
“For the past year, the dynamics of the future have allowed us to achieve this unique result in the Mediterranean. Under the theme of youth and innovation, this event will lead to rich exchanges,” stated Renaud Muselier, who is behind this initiative.
“As of today, we have been able to bring together Palestinian, Israeli, Egyptian, Lebanese, Italian, and German delegations, to name just these examples! This is our opportunity: by working on concrete projects and staying close to the populations, we have a more direct and more natural dialogue,” he concluded.
