On Tuesday, May 28, children will celebrate the day of Niçoise traditions and participate in workshops and games. This day is organized by the “Children’s Department.” They can take part in various activities such as tug-of-war, Pilou, Ratapignata, Paillassou throwing, Pan Bagnat relay, pétanque, and many more.

The children will be able to perform traditional Niçoise dances on stage that they have learned in class. Two teachers from the “Niçoise Language, Culture, and Traditions Service” indeed engage with schools throughout the year to teach traditional dances to children. On the day’s program, three Niçoise folk groups (La Ciamada Nissarda, Lou Cairèu Niçart, and Nice la Belle) will present the traditional costumes to the children.
