On Monday, October 22nd, the Alpes-Maritimes Department sent a FORCE 06 team to Aude to assist the town of Trèbes, which had been struck by the terrible floods that claimed the lives of 14 people and caused considerable damage.
In total, 30 volunteer agents, under the command of Jean-Paul Léoni, deputy head of the FORCE 06 service, went on-site equipped with 13 vehicles and 3 machines.
Eric Menassi, Mayor of Trèbes, wanted to pay tribute to our FORCE 06 agents who lent a helping hand to his town by awarding them the town’s medals. A gesture of recognition offered to the agents.
