A new startup from Nice, Livmedโs, offers home delivery for medications. An innovative idea meeting a population need.
Sometimes, when one is ill, it is difficult to go to the nearest pharmacy to collect medication. To address this problem, Talel Hakimi devised a solution, and the young man has just found it. Indeed, he has launched Livmedโs, an app that allows people to get their medications delivered to their homes. โWe needed to meet this need. In France, this service is rare, despite healthcare being the most important sector,โ explains Talel Hakimi, creator of the Nice-based startup. The process is quite simple: the customer places an order with a pharmacist, the pharmacist activates the order, and a delivery person collects the medications to deliver them to the customerโs home. With delivery completed in under 30 minutes! Simple and effective.
Successful beginnings!
On the app, the customer also has the option to communicate with the pharmacist to decide on the treatment to follow. A subscription of 9 euros per month provides unlimited deliveries and teleconsultations, as well as home help and assistance services. Since Livmedโs was created last December, more than 300 customers have used the platform. The app is very well designed, with distinct sections for private individuals, couriers, nurses, and doctors. The goal is to make it accessible to all users. โIt is a secure service. People need not fear because the data is encrypted. The pharmacist is the only one with access to health information,โ explains Talel Hakimi. Besides medications, Livmedโs also delivers animal products sold in pharmacies. Lastly, the Nice-based startup also collaborates with opticians! Now, Talel Hakimi has a wish for this new year: โto expand nationally while remaining a human-centered company.โ
