The Varโs Musica Ensemble, founded in 2003, is dedicated to early music, Gregorian chant, contemporary creation, and improvisation. Many concerts in Europe and France have provided opportunities to meet great musicians and composers who regularly write for the Ensemble, particularly for voice and cello. During improvisations, it is also a time for family gatherings to sculpt, tame the sound, melodies, and harmony during fleeting yet enduring moments… Varโs Musica has also worked with internationally renowned groups such as the English sextet The Kingโs Singers and the German sextet Singer Pur. It participated in the “Music and Spirit” Festival at the Thoronet Abbey (France) in 2007 and 2008. In February 2009, Varโs Musica went to Heidelberg to give a concert at the invitation of the Heidelberg Society of Music Friends.
