In May, theater takes over the streets of Menton… a highly anticipated event!
The city of lemons is about to become, for a day, the setting for vibrant outdoor performances and skits presented by students from French and Italian schools.
On Wednesday, May 23, some three hundred students will parade through Menton’s streets and perform under the curious gaze of passersby on the theme “tales, myths, and legends.”
Thanks to the work of Vanina Musielak, mission officer at the rectorate responsible for organizing the event, they will come from Turin, Cuneo, Alba, Cuers, and of course Menton, to share their passion for comedy.
Organized with the support of the city of Menton, in collaboration with the youth service and Paul Valรฉry high school, these meetings, which mix various genres such as singing, dancing, and drama games, offer an opportunity to celebrate while sharing the passion for theater.
Join us at 11 a.m. at the entrance to the pedestrian street, on the avenue Fรฉlix Faure side, for the parade’s start that will march to the Place du Cap before settling, from 2 p.m., on the forecourt of the Jean Cocteau Museum Sรฉverin Wunderman collection, where numerous skits will be performed alongside professionals.
