Middle school students are improving their pass rates for the brevet in the Alpes-Maritimes.

The national diploma of the brevet (DNB) is a diploma that certifies the knowledge acquired at the end of middle school. It does not determine access to a higher class at the end of the third year.


brevet-3.jpg Since the 2013 session, the DNB has two series: the general series and the professional series.

In the Alpes Maritimes, 12,681 candidates took part in the June 2014 session of the DNB, which is 215 more candidates compared to the previous session. The success rate is 85.3%, an increase of 0.7 points (84.6% in 2013).

A total of 10,817 young individuals obtained their diploma, which is 275 more admitted than last year.

The results of the middle school series (11,607 candidates) show a slight increase of 0.3 points with a success rate of 86.8% (86.5% in 2013). The results of the professional series (1,074 candidates) have increased by 5.3 points with a success rate of 69.4% (64.1% in 2013).
