MIN: Presentation of the transfer of activities to La Baronne

Latest News

Two years ago, Christian Estrosi decided to take over the management of the MINs internally, to provide a strong institutional framework for the activities and businesses, but also to maintain the rental fees in 2011 and 2012 based on the 2010 rates.

Because in our department, 3,400 farms have disappeared in the past 10 years, representing more than a third of the agricultural area used, it was essential to enhance agricultural production and its stakeholders, modernize tools and distribution channels, improve land management, and support the emergence of innovative projects.

In line with this commitment, a consultation was conducted throughout the development of the project: the services of Nice Côte d’Azur, wholesalers, and producers met numerous times to specify and develop the activity transfer program.

It is an opportunity to collectively define the future tool that will ensure sustainable improvement for the valuation of local production and the enhancement of its activities, at the very heart of the Eco-Valley National Interest Operation.
