The Minister for Public Action and Accounts, Gรฉrald DARMANIN, will be in the Alpes-Maritimes this Friday to meet with customs service agents as part of their border control mission.
The customs services will present the Minister with the coast guard patrol boat from Nice, the DF 33, a new generation vessel acquired last February. This vessel is particularly used to carry out customs checks related to the detection of narcotics, contraband tobacco, and various traffics conducted by sea.
The Minister will then attend a highway inspection at the La Turbie toll booth on the A7 motorway, near the Italian border, as part of the significant control measures implemented by customs.
