Miss Côte d’Azur, all fiery, all chocolate

Latest News

This Wednesday, February 19, Manelle Souhalia, Miss Côte d’Azur, walked the runway wearing a unique and quite original piece of art: a chocolate dress called “Opéra Barock” created by the Puyricard chocolaterie.

Indeed, the King of Fashion has its share of surprises this year at the Nice Carnival. Thought you had seen it all in fashion? Here is the chocolate dress worn by Manelle Souhalia, Miss Côte d’Azur. An exceptional and absolutely unique piece weighing 7.2 kg and adorned with 400 pieces of chocolate and 25 gold leaves. The Opéra Barock dress is the result of a collaboration between designer Ben Brass and chocolatier Michel Panariello. In total, 160 hours of work, patience, and finesse were required in the Puyricard workshops to create this original and, it must be said, appetizing design.

Flower Parade

On a flower-filled and crowded Place Masséna, the 4th runner-up Miss France walked alongside the actresses of the flower battles. An elegant show, colorful and full of smiles for a large audience. The famous flower battle then covered the main square of Nice before circling around Albert I Garden, with floats colored in themes representing the world. Once again, arms left filled with mimosas.

Next meeting for the flower battle: Saturday, February 22, at 2:30 PM
