This operation will be carried out through the acquisition of a 12.5% stake in the company Azzurra Aeroporti, a shareholder vehicle owning 64% of ACA since November 2016 following the privatization decided by the French State.
Azzurra Aeroporti is owned by the Franco-Italian consortium composed of the Atlantia group (currently a 75% shareholder jointly with its subsidiary Aeroporti di Roma) and EDF Invest (approximately 25%).
The transfer of the stake will be completed during the month of July.
The sale will be conducted “under the same conditions as the initial transaction,” adds the statement. The consortium had initially purchased the State’s 60% share for over 1.2 billion euros.
