For this 7th edition, the organizers of the Monaco Live Festival have fully embraced the new wave of Francophone music.
The band Debout sur le Zinc kicks off the festival on Friday, October 9th. Composed of seven members, the band’s music primarily relies on a mix of different personalities, diverse inspirations, rhythmic melodies, acoustic instruments, and lyrics centered on human emotion, all forming an unexpected harmony. Ben Mazué, a musician from Nice, will open the concert. An encounter with the soul of this singer from the French Riviera, who expresses himself in each of his compositions with touches of soul, hip hop, and acoustic music.

On Saturday, October 10th, Vincent Delerm will take over the Monegasque stage. He will present his fourth album titled “Quinze Chansons” (Fifteen Songs). A journey where the singer plays with words, irony, and his thoughts about daily life. Regarded as the leader of the New French Chanson, Vincent Delerm has come a long way since his eponymous first album released in 2002.

The trio, Adrien, will open for Vincent Delerm. Enthralling chords cradled by a dreamy guitar and percussion that call for escape. Simple words that describe everyday life in music. Such is the world of Adrien.
The festival continues on Friday, October 16th with a concert by Emily Loizeau. The young French singer will introduce her latest album, “Pays Sauvage” (Wild Country). An album that reflects her penchant for adventures and thorny encounters, a personality expressed in music and lyrics. Emily Loizeau is one of those musician poets who cultivate a deep love for the stage.

The band Allo Caroline will precede Emily Loizeau in the opening act. A trio made up of Sarah, Stéphane, and Lionel, all hailing from Caen. On their agenda: French chanson… or almost!

Alexis HK will close the Monaco Live Festival on Saturday, October 17. He will perform tracks from his first album, “Belle Ville” (Beautiful City). An album of anecdotes from bistros, neighborhoods, and his life… Stories of everyday life and imaginary characters, all set to rather joyous music.

The opening act for Alexis HK will be performed by Les Babaars. The duo, François Jandolo and Deny Lefrançois, skillfully balance provocation and softness. They draw inspiration from their everyday lives in their songs, set to rhythms of swing, rock, and groove. The two members of Babaars focus on improvisation and audience participation. A musical meeting where the audience is spotlighted.
