Dominant from the beginning of the weekend, Aleix Espargaro clinches the pole position for the 2022 Catalan Grand Prix of MotoGP. Spurred on by his home crowd, the Catalan beats his own record set earlier in the day on the Barcelona-Catalunya track.
Just behind, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) follow on the front row of the starting grid. Johann Zarco will take off from the 4th position, from the second row.
