The Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), second in the championship, secured pole position for the fifth consecutive time on Saturday for the Algarve Grand Prix, while the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), already confirmed as the MotoGP world champion, will start 7th.
The Australian Jack Miller (Ducati) and the Spaniard Joan Mir (Suzuki) will accompany Bagnaia on the front row for the 17th Grand Prix out of 18 this season, this Sunday at 3:30 PM in Portimão.
