The Nice native Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) won the German Grand Prix on Sunday, ahead of Johann Zarco (Ducati-Pramac), originally from Cannes.
The two MotoGP riders from the Alpes-Maritimes dominated on the Sachsenring circuit in Germany.
Starting in second position, Fabio Quartararo took the lead right from the first corner of the circuit. He remained in the lead until the end of the race. Fabio Quartararo, the reigning world champion after his victory last year at just 22 years old, retains his first position and widens the gap with the second, the Spaniard Aleix Espargaro. His victory in Germany is the third of the season.
