The Mouans-Sartoux Photography Show, which will take place on May 4th and 5th, remains the annual meeting point for amateur and professional photographers in the PACA region. Beginners, experts, and professionals will find the tools and advice to help them with their equipment choices and photographic practices. Its attendance in 2012 was 1,200 visitors, proving once again the growing public interest in photography.
At Photopolis, the novelty this year is characterized by numerous exhibitions throughout the city, allowing regional photographers to express themselves and showcase their work.
Saturday, May 4th: PHOTO MARATHON – Meeting at 9 AM – Media Library Forecourt
For this 3rd edition of the “Photo Marathon” in partnership with “All Photographers.net”, organizers hope once again to spark the interest of enthusiasts and the curiosity of beginners!
Alone or in a team of 2 or 3 participants, the marathoners have 2 hours to illustrate a theme once it has been announced. Rich in situations and elements, the territory of Mouans-Sartoux transforms into a vast playground to explore with friends or family. No need to be athletic: it’s not the legs that will run, but each person’s eyes and creative sense!
At the time limit, each participant must return to the “HQ” to choose and submit their best photo. Once this choice is made, their team learns about the next subject and can continue the adventure… In total, three subjects will be distributed throughout the day.
The best shots will be rewarded, and the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon at the Léo Lagrange Hall.

The Photography Show organized by the Mouansois Photo Club returns once again this year with a variety of activities that will attract both photographers and the general public.
A full day to learn, exchange among enthusiasts, discover, and complete your equipment! Since its creation in 1985, the Mouans-Sartoux Photography Show remains the only photography equipment market in the department to offer such a wide variety of products: from collector’s items to the latest innovations, everyone can equip themselves accordingly.
In addition to the sale of photography equipment and accessories, since 2010 the Show has offered discovery workshops, conferences, demonstrations, exhibitions, and meetings. The association’s volunteers are at the public’s disposal to share their passion.
GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER: This year, the Mouansois Photo Club honors the talent of Mr. David de la Fuente Coello, a Spanish photographer specializing in wildlife photography.
Tribute to Claude ZURGER: in partnership with OMAJ and the Town Hall of Mouans-Sartoux, the Mouansois Photo Club offers on Sunday, May 5th, a “Graph” workshop during which young people trained by Claude Zurger can create a permanent work on the theme of photography, in a public space in the city.
