For 30 years, the goal has been to inspire people to read, to share, to learn, to understand, and to meet authors, filmmakers, artists, women, and men who think and imagine the world of tomorrow.
The festival’s president, Marie-Louise Gourdon, is clear about the ambitions of the organizing team: “We want a continuous bubbling and abundance for 3 days: meetings, debates, films, concerts, readings, theater, dance, youth shows…”
Very beautiful events are being prepared for this year, with extraordinary guests, new features, and significant changes.
The Festival will again be pedestrian-only and will fully occupy the boulevard with numerous activities: Graffiti, Street Art, cosplay parades, street dances and music…
Theatrical performances, youth shows, tales, concerts, and readings will be offered by the National Theater of Nice, the theaters of Grasse and Antibes, ERAC, the Regional Orchestra of Cannes, partner companies…
“And, with all of you, we will strive for the ideal, as it is the theme of this 30th Book Festival, Striving for the ideal…” concludes Marie-Louise Gourdon.
