On this September 25th, a national tribute is paid to the Harkis and the indigenous forces engaged in the regular army (the Moghaznis, auxiliary units created in 1955, the territorial units created in May 1956 and later transformed into Reserve Units (UR) in 1960, the FAFM (Franco-Muslim Auxiliary Force) supervised by French officers…).
In the Alpes-Maritimes, this ceremony will take place in Mouans-Sartoux in the presence of civil, military authorities, and the entire combatant community.
The 54th Artillery Regiment of Hyères and the Artillery School of Draguignan are participating in this event.
On this occasion, Colonel Bédu will present the military medal to Mohamed Nemri, and then, following the speeches, the associations and authorities will lay wreaths.
