1. The Lackey – Alexandre Charlot and Franck Magnier
Louis, a young lazy party-goer, multiplies his antics and spends his father’s fortune without restraint. His father, the president of a luxury hotel group, exasperated, decides to give his son a good lesson with a revolutionary idea: make him believe he has mysteriously landed three and a half centuries earlier, in the time of Louis XIV! Caught in this carefully crafted masquerade, the young man quickly discovers that back then, it wasn’t the life of luxury for everyone! Farewell to glitter and smartphones; Louis will have to reluctantly swap them for mops, buckets, and rags. Maltreated by a tyrannical viscount, the young lackey is about to have a tough time!
2. Twisters – Lee Isaac Chung
Former storm chaser Kate is still traumatized by her encounter with a tornado when she was a student. Now, she prefers to study the behavior of storms from the safety of New York. But when her friend Javi asks her to test a new tornado detector, she agrees to return to the heart of the action. She then meets the charming and daring Tyler Owens, famous for his tornado-chasing videos posted on social media. As the storm season reaches its peak, tornadoes of unprecedented scale put their lives in peril.
3. English Dinner – Matt Winn
Sarah and Tom are facing serious financial difficulties: their only solution is to sell their London house. When their friends arrive for one last dinner, Jessica, an old friend, shows up and joins them. After what seems like an insignificant quarrel, Jessica hangs herself in the garden. Tom is about to call the police when Sarah realizes that if the buyer finds out, the sale will fall through, ruining their relationship. The only way out is to take Jessica’s body back to her own apartment. After all, what could possibly go wrong?
