The first edition of the MOVIMENTA festival, dedicated to the moving image, will take place until November 26.
Organized by the association L’ECLAT, MOVIMENTA is divided into three main areas: launching a Young Creation Award, nocturnal outdoor screenings of artists’ films, and Art & Technology meetings.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosts the two organized days (this Thursday and Friday) on ARTISTIC CREATION & INNOVATION.
On the agenda:
70 artists, researchers, and international professionals from the cultural and creative industries and digital technologies.
4 round tables on publishing, video games, heritage, and the creative ecosystem.
20 presentations by startups, artists, shows, and innovative projects.
12 interactive demos: augmented reality, virtual reality, video mapping to experiment with new technologies.
24 films screened from 24 schools of the Animation Cinema School Network.
6 Focus conferences to learn all about the history of video games, Data Art, patronage or crowdfunding.
3 professionals – lawyer, accountant, and insurer – specialists in Media and Creation for free consultations.
In total, more than 45 activities aimed at professionals but also curious individuals to get inspired, discover, and experiment with new image technologies.
