Municipal Elections 2014: Gilles Rainero, candidate of “Rassemblement pour La Trinité”

Latest News

In La Trinité, the election is likely to be more of a bullfight than a competition! The centrist (MoDem?) Gilles Rainero is the fourth candidate to declare himself, and he does so with the conviction of being right: “I will not be a candidate of pseudo-change, but the only candidate of real, realistic, and credible change. I am a man of action who seeks consensus.”

Candidacy Declaration

It is a refocus on the clarity and wisdom of the united people of Trinité, against deviations and cronyism. To lead a list of gathering of men and women of goodwill, whose motto is Basta!

It is a majority of people from Trinité, who need a breath of fresh air and new ideas, real and profound change while respecting our strengths and fundamentals: the gentle way of life, our traditions, and our cultural and natural heritage.

Basta! We say to the people of Trinité, join us, we propose citizen mobilization, we are in the process of formalizing a team and presenting projects,

My conviction is that the people of Trinité want a renewed political staff, competent, available, hard-working, a team that has understood the necessity of giving La Trinité its prominence to build a better future.

I want to set things right and give a voice to the people of Trinité. I am in favor of organizing General Assemblies where all citizens, all actors interested in our city can express themselves, so that decisions can be made quickly afterwards to support the recovery of our city.

For 13 years we have been meeting the people of Trinité, at their homes, in their neighborhoods… We talk about La Trinité and their problems to which we provide solutions. It is therefore logical that I am a candidate for the municipal elections.

In opposition, we were the only ones concretely present to defend you, against the waste disposal site, against the giant garage, against the fantastic projects downtown.

I will face candidates who are all jointly responsible for the slow decline of our city. Candidates who represent the past and especially the inability to move forward and make La Trinité shine.

In a few weeks, I will present to you our entire team and a program that will make La Trinité, a city oriented towards its youth, its elders, its merchants, its businesses, and its inhabitants, towards unity.

Together we will give our community the place it used to have, and a voice to the people of Trinité. Trust to businesses, to investors, the equipment, and jobs.

We say BASTA! People of Trinité open your eyes,
