Municipal Elections 2020: France Audacieuse Grants Its Approval to “Bold” Candidates

Latest News

In the absence of having transformed into a party, the movement one might call "territorial right" does not shy away from playing a political role.

And what better way than to place its hat on the heads of candidates for the 2020 municipal elections?

But what profile is required to receive the blessing?

Here it is: being free, independent, and unifying; committed to a modern, reformist, ecological, and bold right-wing for the territories; having a political commitment that prioritizes, above all, the city's interest.

If they meet these conditions, incumbent mayors as well as new candidates can earn the "La France Audacieuse" label.

Beyond the vaguely "Michelin guide" aspect, isn't there an overlap with the support (the term endorsement is no longer in fashion) that the LR Commission, chaired by Eric Ciotti, has deliberated for many of the candidates featured on the presented list?

Will they have โ€“ at least in the vast majority of cases โ€“ dual affiliation?

In the Alpes-Maritimes, the following have been endorsed: Louis Nรจgre in Cagnes-sur-Mer, Charles Scibetta in Carros, Jean-Paul David in Guillaumes, Jean-Bernard Mion in La Colle-sur-Loup, Christian Estrosi in Nice, Joseph Segura in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, and Catherine Le Lan in Vence, all of whom are incumbent mayors.
