The electoral campaignโjust weeks before the first roundโhas intensified, and Philippe Vardon, predicted as the challenger to the incumbent mayor, has been very active since last summer, working the field…
After the thematic meetings, during which he was able to express the key points of his program, the time had come for him to share his vision of the city he wishes to govern.
On this occasion, he called upon the regional heavyweight, the mayor of Frรฉjus, David Rachline, an example of success for the “frontist” electorate, a reference for all those who wish to emulate his path.
Of the same generation as Philippe Vardon and in agreement with him, David Rachline was full of praise for his counterpart, addressing the favorite subjects of the many present in the room: for them, “Protecting and serving our citizens, that’s the mission of RN mayors,” for the identitarians, “Respecting and transmitting our traditions: it’s a priority in our town halls, and I know Philippe is very attached to Niรงoise traditions,” for the anti-Islamists, “the Estrosi municipality has set up 3 radical mosques in municipal premises, it even gave a 3000mยฒ plot in the Var plain for a giant mosque to be built!”
Finally, the prediction of the previous day, “Philippe will have the courage to act for his city and its identity, open a new and beautiful page in the history of Nice with him and his running mates.”
After such an introduction, the path was well cleared for Philippe Vardon, whose candidacy is based on two pillars: identity, security, and localism (committed and rooted).
These strong points of his speech could only be reiterated:
“I do not want to see our traditions and our way of life disappear. I do not want Nice to become just another metropolis, soulless and characterless.
I am Nissart and proud to be one, yes I want a proud Nice!”
“I want to rediscover a safe Nice, I do not want a single Niรงois to be afraid for themselves, for their mother, for their children, no matter which neighborhood they are in.
We will bring back the Municipal Police to its initial mission: contact, presence, deterrence!”
“Suffocated by the limitless development imposed by Estrosi, surrounded by concrete and perpetually constructed buildings, faced with massive immigration and its consequences, Nice is gradually losing its soul… and thus its charm.”
“The Var plain must return to being the granary of the Metropolis, we must bring back agriculture that allows for local food self-sufficiency.
We will stop the concreting of the Var plain and save everything that can be saved!”
