Patrick Allemand (PS-Verts-MRS): Christian Estrosi has lost over 21 points on his lead; it’s a collapse. Estrosi has performed worse than Peyrat in 2001. Seeing as Jacques Peyrat lacks the capacity to unite in the second round, we are the only ones who can create this momentum. Our list “Changez d’ère” started from afar, but we are now close to the goal and on the verge of winning this bet. I have a team of great quality with me. Regarding Patrick Mottars, it seems the people of Nice have forbidden him from maintaining his position.
Hervé Caël (MoDem-PRG-MEI): Attributed with 3%, this election has been challenging for us, with tricky conditions concerning the media and polls. As for our voting instructions, we have defended values in this campaign, and it is up to the candidates to prove whether they align with our themes.
Christian Estrosi (UMP): It’s a tremendous satisfaction. The people of Nice are waiting for hope, and they have shown me this. We are also leading in the Nice cantons thanks to our work and dedication. If I am elected next Sunday, I will be the mayor for everyone. I cannot hide my pleasure, and I invite those who made a different choice to join us.
Jacques Peyrat (Entente Républicaine): I regret not being able to claim victory in the first round, which would have been possible if the UMP had not sidelined me. Now there are three of us, and nothing is yet set in stone. I find myself alone against the power of the UMP, with my results, my management, and my friends. With only a 12-point gap, we will contest the second round. I hope to convince the undecided voters, and there are many. I will stay in the race, and there will indeed be a three-way contest next Sunday because I continue to have the desire to fight.
Lydia Schenardi (FN): Credited with 6 to 8%. It’s not a bad score announced for the National Front, but we are waiting for the official figures. The situation is unique in Nice, and Jacques Peyrat’s electorate should be won over by the National Front, and I will endeavor to do so in the coming years. I do not plan to call for a vote for Christian Estrosi, not least because of his choice concerning the mosque. I am waiting for Jacques Peyrat’s proposals, but we will not follow him if he aligns with the left.
