After the breakup of the alliance with Jacques Peyrat, it was imagined that there would be an upcoming enlistment in Olivier Bettati’s list. But no, Jean Icart reminds us that he will run on his own: “Candidacies for the City Hall are flourishing despite the winter. Mine, the first to have been announced in March of last year, is still present.”
The candidate’s resolve seems intact with the same “ambition to carry the hopes and renewal of Nice and the Metropolis.” For ten years, “my label is Nice”, a recurring theme and sole guide of his commitments and decisions, “outside the scheming of parties.”
According to Jean-Auguste Icart: “Only a gathering of different political personalities under the banner of Nice Reunited, in respect and listening to each, with integrity and loyalty, can offer the city the chance for renewal.”
