Patrick Allemand once again targeted Christian Estrosi during a press conference at his campaign office. After previously branding him the “father of debt,” the socialist candidate now accuses him of wanting to claim credit for non-existent achievements during the term that will end in less than three months. Hence a new slogan to stigmatize the outgoing mayor: lies and failure!

Like any good candidate, once elected, he forgot (or was unable to accomplish) a part of it!
So, why this reaction from his traditional opponent? Quite simply because – Patrick Allemand tells us – a few weeks ago (on December 19), Christian Estrosi declared, “100% of my commitments from 2008 have been fulfilled. This is intolerable.”
So, what better opportunity for the leftist republican candidate to demonstrate that his rival “is a liar and bets on the amnesia of the people of Nice”? And thus, we embark on this journey between the summary of Christian Estrosi’s 2008 program promises and those not fulfilled by the end of 2013. For the municipal and metropolitan opposition elected official, there are 45, which is no small number!
In truth, sometimes the list brings a few smiles, and one wonders who might have advised Christian Estrosi to embark on a strategic plan where several points are characterized by their extravagance. Its reading sometimes reminds us of the memory of a youth book, “The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Mรผnchausen” (who, in his story, supposedly traveled to the moon with a cannonball and danced with Venus…).
Finally, if we say that “you have to keep your feet on the ground and (sometimes) let your head go in the clouds,” in this specific case, it is rather the opposite that occurred with the risk of mistaking dreams for reality!
So, for the 2013 program: Not serious, abstain!
