Municipal Elections Nice 2014: The 50 Commitments of Patrick Allemand for “A Different Future for Nice”

Latest News

Final stretch of the election campaign for Patrick Allemand before the voting days of March 23 and 30. After presenting the candidacy, the list accompanying him, and the four major themes, it was time to synthesize and deliver on the commitments to the voters.

This is what the socialist (and green) candidate did, following the introduction by the young newcomer Mélanie Russo and the presentations by the four running mates who are experts in different fields: Paul Cuturello (Fair and Supportive Nice), Françoise Assus-Juttner (Creative and Stimulating Nice), Fabrice Decoupigny (Sustainable and Suitable Nice), and Dominique Boy-Mottard (United and Civic Nice).

Finally, Patrick Allemand inscribed his signature on a program numbered with 50 commitments: “I want to propose a very ambitious yet realistic project,” he said before emphasizing the “urgent need for change” after “20 years of dramatic decline accelerated under the current mayor’s term.”

Let us recall, after detailing it during each thematic presentation, the main points of Patrick Allemand’s vision… just in case: No to the underground for tramway line 2, digital classes for all children, The Ray family plain, The Paillon of Arts and Culture, more affordable housing, and 24/7 security.

Now, it’s up to the citizen-voters to express themselves!
